Caring for Carers

First of all thank you for taking part in the Annual Carers' Thames Walk.

The aims of the walk are to raise the profile of carers and celebrate their contribution, to raise money for your local Carers Centre and other interested groups, and to increase awareness of carers issues. The success of this relies on the enthusiasm of those taking part so thank you!

 

The full route is a circular walk of 9 , 7.5 or 2.5 miles depending how energetic you are feeling.  The route runs along the South Bank of the Thames from Southwark Cathedral upstream to Lambeth  Bridge and includes a walk through the Inns of Court

  •  The Medium Route follw river upstream to Lambeth, cross bridge and return via Inns of Court and Tower bridge

  • The Long Route walkers will do an extension around St Katharine's Dock  before returning to Tower Bridge and Southwark Cathedral

  • The Short Route, as much of the above as you want.  But suggest cross at Millenium Bridge return via Tower Bridge
